Computation of the Effective Reproduction Number in the SECIR Model

Feature description

We extend the computation of the reproduction number from the SEIR model to the SECIR model. The justifications for the exact calculations can again be found in the group folder PSS/reproduction number. In the computations we neglect the dependence of dE/dt on the derivative dC/dt, which would lead to at least second-order derivatives. This corresponds to equation (10) in the paper. This might have to be done by linearizing at a later date.
