Add the ability to include/exclude search term results based on other text included or not included in the same line number

Use case: I'm using VisualGrep to search hundreds of research papers for terms such as "antibacterial".

I need a new filter that returns search term data that DOES NOT appear in the "References" section, as these are not part of the experiment, just the bibliography the researchers list at the end.

I totally understand, Regular Expressions may sound very complicated but they are very powerful

To search for "antibacterial" but excluding lines containing at beginning "References" you can search for the string shown below (remember to check the option "Regular Expression")

^(?!(References)).*ant

... is there any way you could build a "layman's" interface that builds such Regular Expressions? That would be novel and ideal.
