"The Federation" Appliance(s) e.g. Diaspora, Mastadon... #1166
Description
With the recent woes of the big social media companies, and growing concerns on privacy, there seems to have been a massive uptick in usage of "open" social media platform such as "The Federation".
We already have a GNU Social appliance, but I note that there are only 3 GNU Social nodes attached to "The Federation". So perhaps it's worth considering a Diaspora (source) and/or Mastadon (source) appliance?
