This seems to be the only relevant fix in io-console I could find. JRuby still cannot run IRB on Apple M1 but the same code (FFI-based io-console) runs fine with CRuby. I will merge this and push for release. |

@hsbt I need to release this to include in JRuby 9.4.3 this week. I can probably do it or you can. |
