@Avasam Can you help with the pyright failures? Ruff made some changes (see hobgoblins commit) that seem to have have broken pyright expectations.

I see tests are failing on cygwin, as cygwin is still pinned to Python 3.9. Let's try bumping the cygwin Python version.
