Error handling consistency #267
Description
Based on this comment thread (openedx/frontend-app-authoring#2872 (comment)), it sounds like there may be some inconsistencies in how error handling takes place on the backend and how the frontend deals with that. This sounds like overarching technical debt that is not specific to our Taxonomy Editing work, but I'm creating this ticket here to be able to track this issue.
