Dual licensing

Some projects have multiple licenses e.g. one for the codebase (MIT) and one for the assets (CC0). This is not currently covered to my knowledge.

Also, I think we should explicitly request for a codebase license and an artwork license. They are not the same thing.

If we are only delivering binaries, then technically we only need the license for the binary/software itself.
But some archives/installers and plugins come bundles with assets/sounds/samples etc which don't conform to a single file.

We would need to associate a license to the type of content perhaps something like this:

"license": "mit",  // primary license would be the most restrictive license
"licenses": [
   { "type": "cc0", content: "plugin", { "type": "mit", content: "audio" } }
]

This would allow someone to see the high-level restrictions across everything. And read through the details of licensing specifics if needed.

Would need more thought. If you have seen any examples of dual/multi-license repos that would be helpful to map out the different use-cases?

People wouldn't usually tag art with a coding license. Also, not all examples of dual licensing are because of art, sometimes it's two different code licenses. It's a bit confusing but we will have to work out a system for even beyond dual licensing.
