More than one session file error/Making copies of project file

I am working with research assistants to produce metadata for my project, and when I try to put a copy of the .sprj file on an external hard drive, I run into a host of issues. One is that all of the project tab information gets lost and replaced with a blank sheet with just the Extreme SSD folder name. The more annoying one that I haven't been able to fix is that now I get an error under every session folder, screenshot added, that tells me when I click on it that there is more than one session file in the folder. I click on the error for it to show me, and there is not, in fact, more than one session file. It gives me this error for every session.

I'm running Lameta on a Mac, and I had this issue with both 2.1.2 and the latest release (just updated today to see if it would fix it).

Any idea on the issue? And is there a better way to share the whole project for someone else to work on it?

Hi, I'm sorry that it has been annoying trying to share your work with an assistant.

lameta works as a constellation of files and folders:

At the root of it is this .sprj file, but that contains only a few pieces of information like what the access protocol is.

Have you tried putting the entire project folder onto the external drive?

Thanks for the quick response! Yes, I moved the .sprj file, as well as the Sessions and People folders.

Just to add further information, I wondered if the problem could be trying to open the project from an external hard drive when I have the same project on my computer's HD. I tried the external hard drive on another machine, and I'm having the same issue. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
