Faster and lighter on the context, but Copilot "forget" it exists also faster

Here my first reaction to Playwright CLI compared to the MCP: it works better, faster, and indeed consume less context.

however, the chat kind of "forget" about the CLI much faster, so i have to manually repeat "use the skill Playwright CLI for this issue".

Does anyone got similar feedback ?

I've tested it and it works really well. In order to not "forget" to use playwright-cli can be communicated with the coding agent so it can append that to the rules.md or skills.md files.

yes, but that is not enough, because that is what i do already. because AGENTS.md an such are loaded at the start of the conversation, but i find it forget how to use the skill faster. So ideal for one shot, but compared to MCP, the model forget much faster

This sounds like an issue on the Copilot side.

The skills should not be preempted or evicted from its memory. If they are getting dropped or ignored, that likely indicates a Copilot context management problem, not much we can do on Playwright CLI side about it.
