Description
Checklist
- I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
- I have cleared the cache of my browser.
- I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
- I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.
Describe the issue you are experiencing
There is a false friend translation error in French interface (most probably intentional, but still a translation error)
- Safety focuses on protection against unintentional harm, such as accidents, natural disasters, or human error and is translated as 'Sécurité' in French.
- Security focuses on protection against intentional harm, such as theft, vandalism, or malicious attacks and is translated as 'Sureté' in French.
Describe the behavior you expected
Make a real choice if you focus on one or the other notion and be strong in the translation.
As refered in this other issue: #28501
Many safety aspects are covered into this panel.
Not all security aspects are covered.
Maybe the solution is to name this panel "Safety", because it somehow covers all aspects of "feeling safe".
Steps to reproduce the issue
- update to 2025.12
- open security panel
- if you are french it is named safety panel (ok It is a shame to be french 😆 )
