Use SO_TIMESTAMP socket option (supported only on Unix systems) to capture kernel timestamp for incoming packets. This will make ping probe's latency measurement much more accurate. Impact of this on intra-region latency measurement: http://screen/wuOqxDmE4tT Reference: #531 #540 I tested this change on MacOS and Linux. Logic is not changing for Windows.
