Gutter indicator not working with git staging area enabled

After installing the plugin, I was confused that the gutter and scrollbar indicators still show only the diff to the last commit. It turned out that this was due to the git staging area enable –­ disabling it, I get all the indicators matching the selected scope. Would be nice to support the staging area as well.

Using version 2025.3.2 of the plugin with IntelliJ 2025.2.6.1.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue with the 2026.1 release of the plugin. Please upgrade and re-test if the problem is still visible.
