What is the nested element? I recommend applying the style to that using a dedicated class name instead of using a wildcard like this - it should make the intent clearer.

Allow bottom legend containers to properly shrink and truncate long series names with ellipsis. This prevents horizontal overflow in dual-axis charts with lengthy resource identifiers.
