I am Akif Islam, a researcher working at the intersection of Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, speech technologies, and low-resource language AI. My research especially focuses on building meaningful and practical AI systems for Bengali / Bangla language technologies, with an emphasis on efficiency, reproducibility, and social impact.
