🔁 Steps to Reproduce

Using architect, prompt, then trigger an api error that will result in retry loop

💥 Outcome Summary

Clicked Cancel, which will usually result in the ability to Resume or Terminate the task
Instead, it completely terminated the Task, and I lost ALL the previous task history, resulting in loss of work

This happens with Gemini 06-05 constantly. Interrupting causes parts of conversation to be lost, context shrinks, and I lose my valuable work. This bug also happens when I want to simply close the conversation. So it's come to a point where I must exhaust everything out of a conversation before deciding to start a new one or I risk losing everything if I decide to close it.
