Description
Hey folks, a number of technical slack servers I'm in use linen, which is great for looking up information. However, it's not easily accessible to AI agents, who could greatly benefit from this information. I would like to request a linen MCP server - it doesn't need to be complex, just a way to run searches. Ideally the actual MCP would be ran locally and just call out to linen's APIs.
Why a dedicated MCP server instead of just relying on web searches? Well, AI agents have trouble using web searches, the "web search MCP" space is somewhat lacking, and even then, it gets the whole web instead of just the technical Slack server for the technology. For example, it's probably much more effective to search the Kotlin slack for an answer to a question about Kotlin than starting from Google.
