Feature description
I'm in the process of setting up a new Pixel 8 phone and am running a number of Fossify Apps in parallel to the Google Apps to check functionality and aesthetics and compare the performance of the apps
The Fossify File Manager appears to have one important feature missing
Any files I've deleted in the Google "Files" app move to the Recycle Bin and begin a 30 day countdown prior to permanent deletion. In the interim period the files can still be seen in their original folder with the prefix ".trashed" to designate that they are sitting in the recycle bin.
Fossify File Manager can display all ".trashed" files in their original folders (the same functionality as Google Files) but if you initiate the deletion of a file from within Fossify File Manager it appears to permanently delete the file with immediate effect.
Assuming I'm not doing anything wrong that suggests that there is no "Recycle Bin" feature in Fossify.
Can consideration be given to adding a Recycle Bin with 30 day (or user set countdown) please
Why do you want this feature?
Automatic permanent deletion is problematic if you accidentally select the wrong file. Important files could be deleted by mistake
