Are you pulling messages in the background to show push notifications?

There are two cases(all uses a background thread):

1. if the device is active (the screen is on or the device is plugged) I use IMAP IDLE and I'm receiving fresh info from the server in real time.

2. if the device in the Doze Mode I use JobScheduler and retrieve new info every 15 minutes if the internet connection is available and the system allow me to do that.
