Support opening Google Maps URLs and receiving Google Maps URL share intents

As far as I can tell there is currently no way to directly open a Google Maps URL in GMaps WV. If there is, then please consider my enhancement proposal to be "make it clearer how to do that" instead of what follows. I am an advanced user, and I believe that if I didn't find it, not many will.

Current behavior

Clicking a link: GMaps WV does not advertise to the OS its capability to open Google Maps URLs. The link therefore opens in the default browser. Avoiding visits to maps.google.com on my default browser is precisely why I us GMWV.

Sharing a link: GMaps WV is **not ** listed in the android share dialog when sharing a Google Maps URL

Proposed enhancement

Clicking a link: GMaps WV is able to open Google Maps URLs directly, and advertises it to the OS. It therefore appears as a choice in the "Open with... – Just once – Always" dialog.

Sharing a link: GMaps WV is listed in the android share dialog when sharing a Google Maps URL.

Use case solved

I want to be able to use the app to view Google Maps URLs I come across, especially those that my relatives send me. I also want to be able to manually open Google Maps URLs in GMaps WV by using the android share dialog.

Logical followup

If this is accepted, please also consider the ability to natively open Plus Codes from the android share dialog.

Ditto, however, why limiting to Google Maps only? I would suggest allowing to open any installed mapping app through the "Open with" dialog.
