Maximum Height and Scroll Bar

Hi,

is there any way to define the maximum height of the dropdown select menu and add a scroll bar to it? Because if the number of options is big, then the dropdown seems endless.

Hi, I agree that this is a problem.
Control was neither designed for really huge lists, neither for server side "filtering". It just "wrapper" around HTML5 multiselect which also will be unusable for ajax and huge embded options lists.

I'm thinking how to change control globally to add this functionality but of course you can setup the max-height for .dashboardcode-bsmultiselect ul.dropdown-menu . And send me your solution if you will find interesting math formulas how to calculate the optimal length (till the end of page?)

If you need some properties you can find them on MultiSelect class instance. Some interesting paths are ms.choicesPanel and ms.MultiSelectDataList ; I will provide events "choices number changed" in next version.

TODO: why I used 0.85
Because during my testing on a multiselect dropdown positioned towards end of a page, was too long and was extending past last </div> (ie: list was longer than footer height)

ALSO:

has too many round brackets

Here everybody can propose better function . customChoicesDynamicStyling show default realisation
