Bug: Debian packages are broken

Originally I just updated my system and everything in it. This lead to problems with regolith (I think, I had 3.0 before)

I tried to fix it:
I cleaned all regolith stuff off my machine.
I followed the instruction on the regolith desktop page.

But then I encountered this problem:

regolith-session-sway : Depends: regolith-displayd but it is not installable
                     Depends: regolith-inputd but it is not installable
                     Depends: sway-regolith but it is not installable
                     Depends: trawlcat but it is not installable
                     Depends: trawld but it is not installable
                     Depends: trawldb but it is not installable
                     Recommends: xdg-desktop-portal-regolith-wayland-config but it is not going to be installed

Then I switched in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/regolith-list from v3.3 to main and the problem disappered.

That means, that the v3.3 has missing packages.

Second problem is, that if I try to use sway instead of flashback, it doesn't work. If I log in, it seems to log in at first and then I fall back to the login-screen.

If I called regolith-session-wayland from a gnome shell in gnome, I got an xdg-variable error. After installing flashback on top of sway, both, the error disappeared.

In journalctl -xe, I think, I saw an error, which was like:

Error in line 58 in /usr/bin/regolith-session-wayland - sway doesn't exist (or so)

In there and also line 56 it calls sway. But sway isn't installed and can't be installed. If I try to install sway, it wants to uninstall regolith-session-sway and sway-regolith.

Which logs do I have to check, why sway doesn't work?

Bonus question: How do I get the old login-screen look with the stars and the simple login. I either get gdm3, default lightdm or regolith-lightdm. But I want the old regolith-login-screen.

Side note: logout-nag sometimes doesn't work. I made an alias logout to gnome-session-quit, which serves me well.

If I create a symbolic link from /usr/bin/sway to /usr/bin/regolith-sway, the session starts, but there is an error with grimshot and mt keyboard layout is broken.

The grimshot error can be suppressed, by commenting out the lines, but the keyboard problem persists. The solution from claudiokuenzler doesnt work.

I followed exactly the instruction, you linked there. For Debian Bookworm. My repo file is this:

Originally it was

deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/regolith-archive-keyring.gpg] https://archive.regolith-desktop.com/debian/stable bookworm v3.3

like in the instruction. Which resulted in the missing uninstallable packages.

I can fix the keyboard problem with this line:

swaymsg input type:keyboard xkb_layout $(localectl status | grep "VC Keymap" | grep -Eo "\s[a-Z0-9\.\-]+$" )

There is probably a better way, but this does it for now.
