doesn't work on Linux Mint, does Regolith have undefined Gnome dependancies?

When I tried Regolith the app selection bar did not work, and logout and shutdown didn't work. I am aware that Ubuntu is the only supported base distro, but I wanted to check if there's any improperly defined dependencies that get missed if installing on a system without Gnome, such as Ubuntu Cinnamon?
