Creating PR via "Compare & pull request" broken

Seems PRs are broken when entering from the "Compare & pull request" button that shows up when a branch has had recent pushes. The page is generally unresponsive - buttons to switch the base, pick assignee, create PR, etc. are unresponsive. Sometimes they'll begin to respond after 10-20 seconds, but still not normal. For example, Button to switch base will bring up the pull-down, but none of the selections respond to clicks. Also, when it's in this state, none of the nav buttons in the header work either.

It does work to enter pull request creation by "New pull request" button. Possibly slightly slow, but otherwise everything is normal.

Tried using Safari and Chrome on MacOS 15
